LSM has continued its expansion to include two KR30 HA robots. These robots (KUKA) are high accuracy and are capable of repeatability down to ±0.1mm.
Robot Specifications:
Watercutting This robot is being setup using Flow International abrasive water cutting equipment enabling LSM to undertake 5 axis water cutting of composite components. This means all parts manufactured by LSM can be trimmed by a robot ensuring continuity in finish and dimensions between multiple parts. Laminating When installation of this machine is completed, it will be dedicated to laminating mass production components. |
